I have been well known as a super duper Wan Ton Mee fan, as such, one of my friends have introduced a very good Wan Ton Mee to me. It's a bit hard to locate this place since it does not have any unique landmarks. I have actually posted a review on Kampar Fish Jelly/ Yong Tau Foo few doors away from this Wan Ton Mee, please refer to the link for a more detailed directions. This humble little stall here sells Egg Noodles/ Wan Ton Mee only but believe me, it is good enough to worth your visit. You may find this stall inside a hawker named JB Restoran/ Bak Kut Teh, just opposite to the flyover bridge to Queensbay Mall and the usual Pasar Tani is held.
I had my bowl of Egg Noodles at Rm 4.50 (Large) which comes with a small bowl of soup. The noodles were very springy and flavor in its own. One may find the noodles slightly thinner than what you normally find out there. Portion-wise, will be very small if you are going for the small ones. I reckon you go for the large portion if you are a big eater like me. This place has been one of my top places to go for when it comes to Wan Ton Mee. Moreover, they have Pickled Chilies placed on every table and Chili lovers can simply add as much chilies as they like! Truly one of the Cheap & Good foods in Penang.
