Crumbs @ Gurney Paragon Mall, Penang.

Crumbs, a renowned Frozen Yogurt brand in Malaysia, has finally landed in Penang's Gurney Paragon Mall. Originated from Hong Kong, Crumbs has many branches in countries like China, Malaysia and Australia. They specialize in hand-made Scones and Frozen Yogurt with some uncommon varieties of toppings. As for the kiosk here in Gurney Paragon Mall, it does not have much to offer in terms of the flavor of the Frozen Yogurt- only Original flavor is available. What intrigued me was the extensive choices of toppings available, some of the notable ones are Green Tea Mochi, House Crumbs, Mini Meringue, Maltesers and Caramelized Banana. The humble little kiosk of Crumbs can be found right beside the escalator to Sam's Groceria at Lower Ground floor of Gurney Paragon Mall.

Their Frozen Yogurt comes with a silky smooth texture with a strong milky flavor. I had some Green Tea Mochi as topping, they were chewy and gives a more layered texture to the creamy Frozen Yogurt. However, the Green Tea Mochi lacked the Green Tea flavor, it was way too mild to taste, I would personally prefer a more intense flavor. As much as I adore the silky smooth texture that invites my tongue to every corner of my mouth, I found it slightly sweet for my palates. Nevertheless, it suits those with a sweet tooth and prefer a sweeter version of Frozen Yogurt. Unlike some other Frozen Yogurt brands, there is a sense of simplicity without the frills in Crumbs; being unpretentious and genuine in offering only Original flavor Frozen Yogurt as I like my Frozen Yogurt to be as simple as it could. 

There are only 3 sizes available- Kiddie Cup (Rm 7.90 with a type topping), Regular (Rm 11 with a type of topping) and Large (Rm 12.50 with 2 types of toppings). I would recommend the Large-sized Cup personally, of course, it is meant for sharing as it comes with 2 types of toppings and gigantic size, as well as minimal difference to Regular-sized Cup.
