Cheese lovers will go "Gaga" with their assorted imported Cheese, there were Soft Cheese (Brie) and 2 types of Hard Cheeses (Edam and Gouda), to pair with the Cheeses, you may opt to go for their in-house White or Red at additional cost. I was delighted to find out there were Walnuts, Almonds and Grapes to go with the Cheeses, it will be even better if they are able to provide some Honey. However, I thought the selection for Cold Cuts might be a little limited.

Seafood on ice available were Mussels, Prawns and Scallops, however, the absence of fresh Oysters left me underwhelmed. The Prawns, on the other hand, were fresh, juicy and succulent; perfect to go with their Wasabi-Mayo. Satiate your cravings for Raw Salmon slices at their Japanese-Sushi kiosk where you will find Salmon, Tuna and White Tuna Sashimi. Sushi Rolls are available upon request, the Chef on duty will be pleased to cater to your needs. My only gripe was the Salmon Sashimi I had were improperly sliced, which affected the texture.
Baked Potatoes served with Scallions, Sour Cream and Beef Bacon Bits
Grilled Vegetables- Zucchinis, Aubergines, Capsicums
Seafood lovers will be weak in the knees with the aplenty choices available at the outdoor barbecue pit, diners can expect Slipper Lobsters, Salmon, Mackerel, Squid, Mussels, Prawns and some Vegetables on the grill. While the Seafood tasted standard-average, what impressed me was the wide selection of sauces available, particularly Dijon Mustard and Mint Jam; it would be perfect if they were able to offer grilled Lamb, which works perfectly with the Mint sauce. The Grilled Zucchinis, Capsicums and Aubergines were little less successful, they were overcooked, thus, losing the crunchy yet juicy bite. I am always a big fan of Baked Potatoes with Beef Bacon Bits and Sour Cream; perfectly cooked Potatoes, crispy Bacon Bits, tangy Sour Cream, the dish definitely had all the boxes ticked.

The mains were equally tempting, I was especially enamored for the Wok Fried Squid with Celery, I love the slightly resilient Squid with a hint of unique aroma from Celery stalks. I did not manage to try the Crab Curry Kampung Style but I was informed that the dish is one of the signature dishes from Chef Hamizi (Sous Chef of G Cafe). The Grilled Fish Fillet with Balsamic Radish & Tomato Salsa on the other hand, seems nice but the flavor combination did not really work for me, I would prefer the dish to possess a stronger Balsamic-acidic tilt. Other mains available were: Baked Pasta with Seafood Napoli Sauce, Vegetables with Cream Sauce etc.

Carefully prepared by their award winning pastry Chef- Chef Tan, G Cafe's range of luscious desserts is the undisputed way to end the meal. I was especially tempted by the Chocolate Fountain with the assorted condiments- fresh Strawberries, Marshmallows, Dragon Fruit, Dried Apricots just to name a few. Their Orange Mousse was another favorite of the night, it was refreshingly light with its fruity acidic tinge. Their moist and light Butter Cake with Caramelized Nuts was ethereal, the enticing combo of crunchy Nuts with buttery soft Cake was just perfect. Other warm desserts available were: Blueberry Crumble and Pengat Nangka.

Ice Cream frenzy will go crazy over their range of "Eyes Cream"; there were 6 flavors available for this premium Italian brand Gelatomio. I did manage to try 2 flavors- Vanilla and Passion Fruit Sorbet, the Sorbet was slightly too sweet for my liking, I would prefer mine to possess a fruitier flavor. However, the Vanilla "eyes cream" was good, smooth with a very strong Vanilla flavor, just perfect to enjoy together with the warm Blueberry Crumble.
